Artifact: My Twitter Account
Reflection:
- Briefly describe the artifact and the context in which it was created. What was/were your individual contribution(s)?
- The artifact for this standard is my Twitter account. I created it sometime around 2011, but it has grown steadily ever since. I am the sole poster.
- Explain how this artifact demonstrates mastery of the standard/element under which it is placed. See the portfolio rubric and watch the videos for more details on what to include in your reflection for this question. You must respond to each of the items on the rubric in this question! It is VERY IMPORTANT that you address ALL of the criteria on the rubric. This one question may need to be several paragraphs long in order to address all of the items on the rubric.
- This artifact meets the standard because it shows some of things that I have found and I am interested in that grow my knowledge, skills, productivity, and practice. It also shows the many folks that I learn from.
- What did you learn from completing this artifact? What would you do differently to improve the quality of the artifact or the process involved in creating the artifact? Not changing anything is NOT an acceptable response.
- Putting all of my learning from Twitter into words is very tough. I have learned so much when it comes to new strategies, new technologies, and just things that improve my practice. I think the main thing to improve it’s quality is to just continue to grow it with new viewpoints and ideas
- How did the work that went into creating the artifact impact school improvement, faculty development, or student learning? How can the impact be assessed?
- This improves all the things around school by just simply being a place to get new ideas and try them out!
